Evaluation Process

The following diagram illustrates the steps of the evaluation process



1 - The input elements:

1.1- Evaluation benchmarks:

Two repositories are validated. A specific reference to the evaluation of institutions and another specific to the evaluation of training courses.

1.2- The Evaluation Kit:

All stages of the evaluation are drawn in a kit.

1.3- The evaluators:

Evaluations are performed by experts selected by the technical departments of the body. The pool of evaluators includes academic experts, quality experts and governance experts.

2 - The evaluations:

2.1 - The prerequisites:

The technical directorates of the body collect all evaluation data and coordinate with all stakeholders.

2.2 - Technical meetings:

Meetings between the technical directorates and the members of the expert team are held at the seat of the body to validate the plan and the evaluation program.

2.3 - On-site evaluation:

The on-site assessment is conducted in accordance with the pre-established evaluation plan and referring to the evaluation criteria of the IEAQA.

3 - The output elements:

The output elements of the on-site assessment are:

3.1 - The difference sheets:

The difference sheets are formalized by the evaluation team and provided to the evaluators at the closing meeting, the school proposes an action plan whose relevance will be decided by the members of the evaluation team.

3.2 - The evaluation report:

A comprehensive report is developed under the coordination of the evaluation team leader. It includes comments on academic, pedagogical, quality and governance aspects.

4 - Notice from the Board of the Trial

Reports are reviewed and validated during IEAQA board meetings. The decisions incorporate the recommendations of the board are transmitted to the tutelage.

5 - Added value:

The ultimate term of evaluation is either a set of recommendations for improvement and / or recommendations for status changes.
